For interpreters & translators
Interested in joining us?
If you are a highly competent interpreter or translator with proven experience in health, legal or business fields, please get in touch. We work on fair, equitable terms across New Zealand, and we'd like to hear from you.
Who we look for
The people we want in our network.
Fluency & accuracy
Genuine command of both languages, and the discipline to interpret faithfully rather than paraphrase.
Sector experience
Experience in healthcare, legal, business or community settings, and an understanding of how each one works.
Recognised qualifications
NAATI certification or other recognised qualifications, backed by professional interpreting experience.
Qualifications
Qualifications matter.
NAATI certification is strongly preferred. It is the standard our clients recognise, and central to how we keep standards high. We also welcome experienced interpreters with other recognised qualifications or substantial professional experience, so if you're working towards certification, tell us where you're up to. Our NZSL interpreters hold recognised NZSL qualifications.
What it's like
Fair conditions, respected work.
Fair payment
We're committed to paying interpreters fairly for the skill they bring. Fair conditions are part of how we work, not an afterthought.
Respectful scheduling
Clear briefs, reasonable notice and bookings matched to your languages, sectors and availability.
Real support
We brief you for the setting and stay reachable. You're part of the team, not a name on a list.
